• Book ahead (3-6 months) - 4-5 star boats drop their early-bird rates by 10-15% for advance bookings. From 3 months before departure, prices climb.
• Avoid Christmas, New Year, Easter and any school break - these premium periods can double the rate.
• Choose a classic 4-star cruise instead of a 5-star Premium - very comfortable (balcony cabin, pool, solid dinners) for $430-650 less.
• Travel as a pair, not solo - the single supplement runs $315-530: share the room/cabin with a friend to save.
• Pay by wire rather than card - Stripe fees are 1.4-2.5% that we pass along. By wire you save $27-55.
• Arrange your visa yourself via visa2egypt.gov.eg (at the current official fee) - cheaper than a visa handled by a tour operator.
