Day by Day Itinerary: 4 Days / 3 Nights
Day 1 - Arrival Luxor, Embarkation, Karnak & Luxor
Reception at Luxor airport around 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Direct transfer to the pier, boarding your MS. Lunch on board. Afternoon: visit to essential karnak temple - the largest complex in Egypt (2 km², 60,000 listed statues), the monumental axis with its 134 papyrus columns, the temple of Khonsou, the sacred lake. At the end of the afternoon, Luxor temple illuminated (alley of the sphinxes). Dinner on board.
Day 2 - West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Colossi
Breakfast on board. Early departure towards the west bank. Valley of the Kings Fast : visit to 3 tombs (including Ramses VI, Mineptah, Thutmose III depending on opening) - Essential package. Signature Formula adds Tutankhamun + Nefertari/Ramses VI. Funerary temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari), embedded in the cliff in 3 terraces. Colossi of Memnon on the way back. Lunch on board. Day 3 - Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo, Arrival Aswan
Early morning: visit to the Temple of Horus Edfu by carriage from the port - the best preserved Ptolemaic temple in Egypt (36 m pylons). Navigation towards Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon: Kom Ombo temple (Sobek/Haroeris double sanctuary) - crocodile museum next door. Final navigation to Aswan. Arrival in the evening. Dinner on board. Option: sound and light show at Philae in the evening (additional $30/person).
Day 4 - Philae, High Dam, Landing
Breakfast on board. Morning excursion: temple of philae aswan (dedicated to Isis, moved to Agilka Island after the construction of the High Dam) - access by felucca. Then panoramic view of the Aswan High Dam. Return to board for check-out at noon. Transfer from Aswan airport or train station to Luxor return train. End of program.

FAQ: Little Golden Program
Is 3 nights enough to discover ancient Egypt?
For a first “essential” approach, yes. You cover the essential sites (Karnak, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Philae). It is not exhaustive (no Abu Simbel, no El-Kab or Gebel Silsila). If you can stay longer, the 7 night cruise or combos are better. To test the destination or a long weekend, it's ideal.
What is the difference between MS 4★ and MS 5★ (Essential vs Signature)?
MS 4★: cabins 14 m², single beds, shower, no minibar, decent buffet. MS 5★: cabins 18-22 m², queen bedding, minibar, welcome tray, gourmet buffet, entertainment. The difference of $190/person is clearly felt for 3 nights.
Is the English-speaking guide really private from $480?
Yes. We refuse the “group of 20-30 people with a shared guide” model common at TUI/FRAM. From the Essential package, you have a guide dedicated to you/your couple/your small group for each excursion. This is our non-negotiable standard.
Can we add Abu Simbel?
Yes, optional D+1 from Aswan: +$210/person including return flight Aswan-Abou Simbel + temple entry + guide. Note that this requires 1 additional night in Aswan, hence the combo "+2 nights Aswan + Abu Simbel" at +$480/pers which is more logical.

Is the program suitable for children?
Yes from 6 years old. The archaeological sites require walking (stairs at Hatshepsut, tombs to descend). Children’s prices: −20% (6-12 years), −10% (12-18 years). Possibility of extra bed in superior/deluxe cabin.
